Speech Listener Element allows real-time recognition of spoken words delivered through microphone line on a sound card. The speech is recognized into a text which can be used for determining a participant response. The elements requires Microsoft Speech API (SAPI) to be installed and properly configured on a computer.

Installation

Microsoft Speech API is included in Window 7 and Windows Vista. To make the element working in Window XP, Microsoft SAPI can be installed using Microsoft Office installation. Here is an MS article describing the SAPI installation process for Windows XP.
